Inaugural Community Friends of Scouting Golf Outing

Unit Leaders, I request your assistance in distributing the following information as widely as possible. Please share with your Unit Parents and use the attached flyer to post in community centers, place of worship, and other gathering areas. On August 30, 2010 the Patriot District will host an Inaugural Community Friends of Scouting Golf Outing. The event will be hosted by the Honorable David Bulova, Virginia Delegate for the 37th District. This event is open to the entire community, not just Scouters, so dust off those clubs and gather your friends and neighbors for a day of fun on the course to benefit your local scouting programs. The Annual Patriot District Awards Dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, 9203 Braddock Rd, Burke, VA 22015. The event will start at 6:30pm with a meet and greet with appetizers followed by dinner, deserts, award presentations. The menu for this event is below.
