Unit Leaders and Parents, As summer vacations are winding down and some of us are looking forward to a new school year, I wanted to take a few seconds of your time to remind you about the District Golf Outing to Support our local Scouting programs. We are little over a month away from Tee Time so I hope you will take a look at the attached flyer and sign up your team today! This year’s event will be held Monday, September 10th at the well-manicured General’s Ridge Golf Course in Manassas Park, VA. Registration begins at 8 AM, with tee-off at 9 AM. The cost for this event is only $100 per player. This price includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, and various prizes. 3nd Annual Golf Outing to Support Scouting

Unit Leaders, I request your assistance in distributing the following information as widely as possible. Please share with your Unit Parents and use the attached flyer to post in community centers, place of worship, and other gathering areas. On September 10, 2012 the Patriot District will host our 3nd annual Golf Outing to Support Scouting. The event will be hosted by the Honorable David Bulova, Virginia Delegate for the 37th District and Pat Herrity, Fairfax County Supervisor Springfield District. This event is open to the entire community, not just Scouters, so dust off those clubs and gather your friends and neighbors for a day of fun and fellowship on the course to benefit your local scouting programs.
