      Patriot District Recognition Dinner

      Ladies and Gentlemen, 

      Just a reminder to sign for the District Recognition Dinner as soon as possible.  This great event will be held Tuesday, May 24th.  It starts at 6:30 pm and will be held at St Stephen's United Methodist Church (9203 Braddock Road, Burke).  This will take place of our Committee Meeting.  I have attached a copy of the flyer.

      Patriot District Recognition Dinner - Now the time to sign up!

      Patriot District Scouters:

       

      Each year Patriot District holds a dinner at which we recognize adult Scouters who have made outstanding contributions to Scouting at both District and unit levels.  You can attend, but you must sign up now!  Please see the attached reservation form that provides additional details.  Don't pass up this opportunity!  The deadline is May 18th, but Craig Pettibone will be delighted to receive reservations at this week's Roundtable on Thursday.

      2nd Annual Golf Outing to Support Scouting

      Unit Leaders,

      I request your assistance in distributing the following information as widely as possible. Please share with your Unit Parents and use the attached flyer to post in community centers, place of worship, and other gathering areas.

      On September 12, 2011 the Patriot District will host our 2nd annual Golf Outing to Support Scouting. The event will be hosted by the Honorable David Bulova, Virginia Delegate for the 37th District and Pat Herrity, Fairfax County Supervisor Springfield District. This event is open to the entire community, not just Scouters, so dust off those clubs and gather your friends and neighbors for a day of fun on the course to benefit your local scouting programs.

      Join us for a Community Golf Event hosted by our Honorary Co-Chairman - David Bulova, Virginia Delegate for the 37th District and Pat Herrity, Fairfax County Supervisor Springfield District. This year’s event will be held Monday, September 12th at the well-manicured General’s Ridge Golf Course in Manassas Park, VA.

      Registration begins at 8 AM, with tee-off at 9 AM.
